A profession is not just a job, but a path of character development that requires time, experience, and specialization. Therefore, changing professions is a major strategic decision.
If a hero decides to change their profession:
Every profession in the game represents a narrow specialization requiring deep immersion. A hero cannot be a master blacksmith and a grand alchemist simultaneously-each field demands dedicated experience and growth. If a hero returns to a previously learned profession, they start from scratch. Past progress is not restored. (Experience transfer may become possible in the future, but the feature is currently unavailable).
Upon finishing a shift, the hero receives:
The tier of the finds scales with the profession level-the higher the level, the better the loot. A maximum of 3 types of finds can be obtained. Higher profession levels and better specialization increase your chances of securing finds.
Base payouts depend on the profession level and hours worked (Hourly Rate):
| Profession Level | Payout (Rate per 1 hour) |
|---|---|
| 1 | 3,000 |
| 2 | 9,000 |
| 3 | 13,000 |
| 4 | 18,000 |
| 5 | 25,000 |
| 6 | 32,000 |
| 7 | 41,000 |
| 8 | 50,000 |
Bonuses for each profession level are added to the base pay. For example, starting at level 4, the hero is guaranteed 35% more gold. If the chosen profession has a +90% payout bonus, at level 8, the hero will guaranteed receive 125% more. The final payout is also influenced by the hero's caste:
Gold earnings aren't just fixed rates and bonuses; they utilize a dynamic coefficient system based on the hero's attributes. You must choose a profession that suits your lifestyle, trade skills, combat abilities, and social standing. Here is how additional factors boost your income:
The bonus to gold earned from attributes, skills, Fame, monster kills, player victories, dungeon completions, and other similar sources cannot exceed 250%. Once this limit is reached, further increases to the corresponding attributes or statistics will not provide any additional bonus.
While working, a hero might encounter unexpected situations. There is a 15% chance for a random event to occur after a shift ends. These events can bring extra profits or minor losses, making every workday unpredictable.
| Event | Effect |
|---|---|
| Lucky Day | +30% gold for the shift. |
| Rich Find | Guaranteed doubled crafting materials. |
| Employer Bonus | +50% gold for the shift. |
| Unexpected Colleague Help | +1 profession point. |
| Useful Find | Guaranteed doubled consumable items. |
| Production Defect | -20% gold for the shift. |
| Accident | Shift completed with zero finds. |
| Mysterious Discovery | Guaranteed chest or equipment (low chance). |
| Generous Client | +100% gold for the shift (low chance). |
Once the work is complete, the player receives a brief report detailing the shift's outcomes.
Every profession features a unique trophy reflecting the ultimate achievement in that specific field. You must manually claim this trophy upon reaching profession level 8. Securing the trophy signifies that the character has fully mastered their craft and is among the kingdom's finest specialists.
By changing professions, you can earn the trophy for your new field. However, if you switch professions before claiming the trophy from your previous one, the opportunity to get it will be lost permanently.
During profession shifts, a hero may discover special chests containing valuable resources and rewards. The type of chest depends on the profession, random events, and the hero's profession level.
Chests are rare rewards and are designed to provide additional progression resources. Higher profession levels increase the chance of discovering better rewards.
| Chest Type | Contents | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Gold Chests | Gold Coins | Contains a fixed amount of gold that can be used for purchases, upgrades, and other activities. |
| Astralite Chests | Astralite Crystals | Contains rare astralite crystals, a valuable resource used in advanced progression and special upgrades. |
| Training Token Chests | Training Tokens | Contains training tokens used to improve equipment mastery and strengthen the hero's combat abilities. |
| Crafting Chests | Random Crafting Materials | Contains materials required for crafting equipment and other useful items. The amount of materials depends on the chest quality. |
| Alchemy Chests | Random Alchemy Materials | Contains ingredients used by alchemists to create potions and special consumable items. |
The amount of resources inside a chest depends on its type and quality. Basic chests provide a smaller amount of resources, while advanced chests contain significantly more valuable rewards.
Profession chests are one of the ways a dedicated hero can gain additional resources while developing their chosen profession. Mastering a profession opens access to more valuable discoveries and greater rewards.
